  • When adding color to the wax, use a mixer or wooden spoon for better blending.
  • Place the wick in the mold and secure it in the center of the container.
  • Gently pour the melted wax into the molds and let it cool down.
  • Put the molds in the refrigerator to cool them faster.

  3. Wax takes about 3 hours to harden.
  4. The type of wax you choose to make your candles depends on personal taste, the type of candles you’re making, the cost, and more.
  5. To make it easier to remove the candle from the mold, grease the molds before pouring in the paraffin so that the candle comes out easily after hardening.

Paraffin, Gel Wax, and Beeswaxsoy wax, and other types of wax like coconut and palm wax are suitable for making floating candles. For making floating candles, small molds are better; you can use cans, but for easy removal, ensure the opening is wider than the bottom. To showcase the beauty of the floating candle, you can color it according to the season. For added decoration, you can use fresh flowers.
